Mona and I visited Indianapolis on April 8, 2024, to witness the Great American Eclipse. There is something absolutely magical and transcendent about total solar eclipses. If you've never seen one, make sure to add this experience to your bucket list.

I took this picture with my iPhone and a solar filter velcroed to protect the lens. I got lucky that it came out well because I was more interested in living the experience than photographing it. I love the picture, but nothing is like being there for real!
