I took this picture with my iPhone, standing in my front porch. It's a bit of a miracle that anything came out in this particular shot! But I'm very pleased with the result. There's something magical about seeing the two brightest objects in the night sky so close to each other. This motif has fascinated humans for generations, and can be seen in many beautiful paintings, e.g., in Native American art.
